Mozaik Designs was established in 1990 and is a partnership between Jody Tessarolo and Caroline Conochie.
Caroline studied Industrial design in New Zealand and followed this up by an Interior design course at the Inchbald School of Design in London. Her interest in ceramic tiles developed while working in Portugal with hand painted tiles. She imported these tiles to Australia and worked in a designer tile showroom on the Gold Coast where she met Jody Tessarolo who was a tile importer and interior designer.

Their mutual interest and experience in ceramics led them to the designing and manufacturing of mosaic tables for a solid client base of Architects and Designers all over Australia. This has progressed to complete café fitouts which may entail the design and manufacture of mosaic murals, tables, chairs, bar tops, stair risers, planters, floor panels, counter fronts, columns and even swimming pools!
